My name is David C. Heson, and I am a senior from Guntown, MS, but I was originally born and raised in Bucharest, Romania. I am a triple major in Physics, Math, and Computer Science. I plan to earn a computational physics PhD and then pursue a career in academia. I have been engaged in research since my senior year of high school, working on my International Science and Engineering Fair project in conjunction with the MSU High Voltage Lab. My current research interest is in theoretical-computational condensed matter physics. I seek to develop theoretical frameworks and open-source computational tools to help academics and the industry better understand and model how exotic materials such as superconductors behave.
